Sport, co-curricular clubs and activities are a big part of student life at ACG Tauranga. We encourage participation, and work hard to ensure each student finds something to inspire them.

We offer a diverse programme of activities, and cater for a wide range of interests – from sport, art, music and languages to creative pursuits such as craft and film making.

All students are encouraged to participate in sport. At primary level, they develop fundamental skills in a fun, yet challenging environment, before moving onto lower secondary and senior school where they may have the opportunity to represent the school in their chosen field. Swimming is an integral part of our Physical Education and Health programme. Our students attend the nearby Liz Van Welie Swim School from Years 1-8 and surf lifesaving at Mount Maunganui Surf Club in Year 9.

Our modern three-level sports complex takes pride of place at the heart of the campus overlooking the sports fields, and is equipped for a wide range of sports and includes a fitness centre and basketball court with viewing areas for up to 500 spectators.

Our teachers know a structured foundation is important for young children, to help them develop and grow into confident individuals.

We provide an exceptional learning space for our preschoolers, with high quality staff who care and guide our young children.We provide your child with a purpose-built, creative and stimulating play and learning area. The preschool team ensure your child receives the highest level of quality, care and attention in a safe and nurturing environment.Young children are encouraged to play, think, experiment, develop self-expression and curiosity. Language skills are developed alongside social skills. Our teachers are highly dedicated and we maintain a high ratio of staff to children.

ACG Tauranga primary school offers an outstanding all-round education to students in Years 0-6.Our primary school students enjoy personalised attention and care from experienced teachers and modern facilities including spacious classrooms and specialist teaching areas (science, music and physical education).

The primary school curriculum focuses on the total growth of the developing child encompassing social, physical, emotional and cultural needs in addition to academic development.

The College at ACG Tauranga offers a comprehensive, well-rounded academic education and a strong foundation for a bright future. We equip your child with the confidence, knowledge, and skills required for tomorrow’s world.

Our College is divided into two levels, Lower Secondary School (Years 7-10) and Senior School (Years 11-13). At every stage, your child will develop a range of skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, independent learning and communication, underpinned by an internationally recognised curriculum.
