Raintree International School provides a progressive early childhood programme for 1.5-5 year olds. In a safe and nurturing environment, we combine the British curriculum with a Reggio-inspired teaching philosophy. Above all, Raintree places a special emphasis on fostering creativity and communication, while developing each unique child within our community of lifelong learners.

With the information age putting a world of knowledge at everyone’s finger tips, critical thinking is more important than ever. In a world constantly evolving, many of the opportunities available to our children in the future cannot even be imagined today. We believe that through play and exploration, we can nurture children’s natural creativity, empowering them to become critical thinkers capable of succeeding academically, emotionally, and socially.

In this increasingly connected world, the global citizens of tomorrow need to communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verbally. The early years are a unique but all too brief period during which children are able to acquire language naturally with increased proficiency. Our multi-linguistic approach at Raintree encourages children to become confident communicators, equipping them with the skills to form relationships and connect with the world around them.

At Raintree, we are committed to building a community of learners where the school, its staff and the parents work together in partnership to cultivate each child’s potential. Recognising that each child learns in a different way, including from each other and those they look up to, we promote a sense of community, both within the school and in the surrounding area. This holistic approach helps our children to feel engaged with the world at large and to develop a lifelong love of learning.

Raintrees, or Chamchuri in Thai, are found throughout Thailand. Known for their vast green canopy, they can often be found in educational institutions sheltering students from the elements as they expand their horizons through learning. To ensure that our children are able to learn in a green oasis, the old raintrees on the site were integrated into the school’s design. The s-shaped buildings curve harmoniously around the trees creating a natural haven for learning.

Our aim is to create a happy and nurturing environment to foster a community of creative thinkers with a lifelong love of learning.
