Matn University College of Technology (MUC) is a higher education institution in Lebanon that offers quality education to its students. The main reason behind establishing MUC in 2013, was to offer students from diverse social levels the chance to continue their education and earn higher degrees. As a financially accessible and affordable educational institution located in the heart of Beirut, MUC aims to become the learning destination for all ambitious and hardworking students. MUC focuses on providing ongoing assistantship to all its graduates and current students throughout their studies at MUC. Starting from the moment they apply to MUC until they reach graduation.

This assistantship isn’t limited only to offering good education, but MUC also plays an important role in the students’ career path of by making sure that its students have all the knowledge and skills needed to get employed. Aside from the educational part, we stress on having an enjoyable and fun student life that motivates students to study and perform better. The MUC Business Courses are set according to the highest standards of Education whilst making sure the skills that students obtain perfectly match the ones needed in the field of Business.

MUC offers Computer Science programs that will help you develop your knowledge and skills in these continuously developing fields, with programs that emphasize technical knowledge along with management and communication skills. You will gain hands-on experience with real-world information system applications.

Students gain skills in critical analysis and creative thinking and practice, and graduate as career-ready professionals. Our researchers address some of society’s big challenges: from sustainable living, to communicating information responsibly in a saturated visual culture. Within their chosen discipline, we task our students with project work that provides the time and support to build that independence, culminating in participation in the Graduate Exhibition. Students’ technical skill and conceptual understanding is underpinned by core study in Drawing and Art & History and Theory. We challenge our students, and help them challenge themselves, so that they emerge from School of Arts with the knowledge, skills and confidence to successfully pursue their career in the arts.

In order to motivate the potential undergraduate applicants that are willing to join our university, MUC offers a full scholarship to the top ranking students in either High School Exams, Lebanese Official Exams or the MUC Entrance Exam. All students who score high grades in the previously mentioned examination programs are eligible to benefit from a full scholarship throughout their whole undergraduate studies at MUC.

MUC offers its students the chance to engage in a professional experience among its offices in such a way as to relieve them from the financial burden of a part of their tuition while completing their studies and improving their communication and interpersonal skills. Accordingly, students are encouraged to join the Work and Study Program (WSP) at MUC where students are required to work up to 15 hours weekly in return for financial compensation.

MUC University believes that everyone has the right to be educated regardless of their age, and fully supports and encourages its students to continue their education. Moreover, there are many ambitious and hardworking students who are seeking a chance to continue their education after stopping their studies due to personal or financial problems.

Accordingly, MUC has decided to give a chance for all students that have faced obstacles and barriers during their academic years, and are willing to continue their education. In accordance to this MUC launches its new Returning Students Program. The aim of this program is to refresh the students’ educational background and help them continue their higher studies without any information gap. The Returning Students Program is considered both flexible and affordable, due to the flexibility of the schedule and its reasonable fees.

MUC Library facilitate the students’ research and gathering of information process. The library is located on the 3rd floor in the university. The MUC Library is considered a modern and comfortable studying lounge in campus, where students can enjoy a stress-free and quite environment with peace of mind while studying. In addition to the wide variety of books found in the library, students can also benefit from searching and preparing for their projects using the MUC E-Library Services. Students, staff and faculty members have the full access to the library’s books, magazines and articles that they are able to use or borrow from the library both physical and online. In addition to that, students can benefit from printing and photocopying services.

MUC is technologically oriented benefitting from the state of the art technology throughout its campus. MUC’s Information Technology Team focuses on providing its students, staff and faculty members with a wide and reliable IT infrastructure in addition to highly advanced equipment. Our IT teams makes sure that latest software and operating systems are always available in order to facilitate the students, faculty and staffs’ work. Our IT staff are well trained in a way to offer all the support and assistantship to students. They can handle any technical issue that might occur in all old and new technologies anytime during working hours.
