To acknowledge and support academic achievement, Flagstaff Partners is pleased to sponsor a scholarship for a Bachelor of Commerce student considering to undertake the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in 2021.

Selection criteria
Selection will be based on academic merit, demonstrated interest in the investment banking industry, strong interpersonal skills, leadership potential and interview performance.

Recipients who do not enrol in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) will not receive payment and will forfeit the scholarship.

Application process
Students should submit an online application, including:

  • A cover letter and addressing the selection criteria
  • A current resume
  • An academic transcript (available from the student portal)

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

When will I know the outcome?
All shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview with a Flagstaff representative and a representative from the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Applicants will be notified via email.

What are the benefits?
The Flagstaff Partners Honours Commerce Scholarship is valued at $10,000 and is payable in two instalments during your Honours year: in May and October.

The Scholarship also includes the opportunity to undertake an internship with the firm over the summer vacation preceding your Honours year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

  • Be an Australian citizen or hold Australian permanent residency
  • Be a Bachelor of Commerce student in their final year of study, considering to undertake the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in 2021
  • Be able to demonstrate academic merit
  • Be able to demonstrate:
    • An interest in the investment banking industry;
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills;
    • And leadership potential.
