Liverpool John Moores University will provide 100 scholarships of £1,000 each year for the overseas students who want to study an undergraduate degree program in the UK.
Application Procedure:
To be considered for the opportunity s, you must take admission in undergraduate degree coursework at the Liverpool John Moores University. After that, you must submit an online application via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Once your application form, submitted through UCAS, will be sent to all your university choices for consideration. Once LJMU receives an application we aim to assess your form on its merits as quickly and efficiently as possible.
To be eligible, applicants must achieve a minimum of three grade As at A2 level or equivalent (144 UCAS points from three subjects). This level of academic excellence will need to be sustained throughout your course.
In 1823 a small institution was founded that was to revolutionise education in Liverpool and provide opportunities for the working people of the city. The Liverpool Mechanics Institute was founded by people of power and influence who recognised the transformative effects of education and the impact that learning and aspiration could have on individuals, communities and society. It was the first such institution to be founded in England.
This small, pioneering movement was followed by the establishment of the Liverpool Institute and School of Art and the Liverpool Nautical College, and in 1900 Irene Mabel Marsh opened the IM Marsh campus. These organisations together laid the foundations for Liverpool John Moores University, an institution that has grown and flourished and continues to provide opportunities for all.
