The Undergraduate International Scholarships in Computer Science is awarded to overseas undergraduate students who apply to study Computer Science in recognition of academic excellence. A wide range of international qualifications will be considered - please contact the admissions tutor to find out the criteria that would apply in each case.

Value of Award
The Undergraduate International Scholarship in Computer Science consists of two elements.

How to Apply
There is no special application process - the awards will be made automatically to all eligible students admitted to the School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham who apply to and select one of the School's courses as their firm choice before 1st August and commence their studies at the end of September.

Eligibility

In order to qualify for this award, an applicant must:

  • Be classed as Overseas for fee purposes;
  • Have made a programme in Computer Science their firm choice;
  • Meet the grades as stated in the above table

Scholars cannot be in receipt of a fully-funded fees scholarship from an external body. (Part-funded students should contact to Admissions Tutor for further information with regards to eligibility).
