Eligibility

The places are open for applicants domiciled in Scotland and the European Union. You must be studying an on-campus programme based at the University of Stirling from October 2020.

You are eligible for a funded place if you are:

• a permanent resident of Scotland for at least three years prior to the start of the programme (i.e. living in Scotland for a purpose other than studying) or
• an EU national (with the exception of England, Northern Ireland, Wales) residing in your own country for three years prior to the start of the programme or
• an EU national (with the exception of England, Northern Ireland, Wales) exercising your right of free movement anywhere in the UK or the EU and permanently domiciled in the EU for three years prior to the start of the programme or
• a non-UK and non-EU applicant with indefinite leave to remain in the UK and permanently domiciled in Scotland for a purpose other than education for three years prior to the start of the programme

You are not eligible if you are:

• a Scottish applicant not permanently resident of Scotland for three years prior to the start of the programme
• a UK applicant not permanently resident in Scotland for three years prior to the start of the programme (e.g. resided in Scotland solely for the purpose of education)
• an EU applicant not permanently resident in the EU for three years prior to the start of the programme
• a non-UK and non-EU applicant with indefinite leave to remain in the UK and permanently domiciled outside Scotland
• a non-UK and non-EU applicant with a limited leave to remain
