We are now offering Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships for 2020/21 on the available courses listed below that start in January 2021. The scholarship will provide a tuition fee discount of 50% on selected full-time and part-time postgraduate courses, and includes the 25% alumni discount. Scholarships have limited availability.

We are committed to helping our undergraduates enhance their careers through further study on courses that give the opportunity to develop the business skills, awareness and confidence needed to aspire to management positions in many professions and business sectors.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is competitive. Scholarships will be awarded to those applicants who most closely meet or exceed the criteria by completing the scholarship task.

How to apply
Applicants will be invited to apply via their UWE Welcome portal. The application deadline for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship for January 2021 is Saturday 31 October 2020.

Home and EU students
The assessments take place in November 2020. If you are successful, you will be notified via email by Friday 20 November 2020. You will have 14 days to confirm your place. Once we have heard from you, we will be able to confirm your scholarship.

International students
The assessments take place in November 2020. If you are successful, you will be notified via email by Friday 20 November 2020. If you accept the scholarship, you will need to pay your £3,000 deposit to UWE Bristol within a week of receiving your scholarship offer letter. You will also have to prove that you satisfy the UKVI criteria in terms of being able to cover living costs and the remainder of the fees.

Payment
The discount equals 50% off the full course cost and includes the 25% alumni discount. The discount will be applied at the start of the course for full-time students. Part-time students will receive the discount at the start of each new study year.

Eligibility

You must be able to start your postgraduate course in the next academic year. For example, if you finished your course in 2018/19 or 2019/20 your postgraduate course must start in 2020/21.

You are eligible to apply if you fit into the below criteria:

  • you have either graduated from, or are due to complete, a full-time or part-time UWE Bristol undergraduate degree in the current academic year
  • you have graduated from a full-time or part-time UWE Bristol undergraduate degree in the previous academic year
  • you have applied for one of the courses listed below.
