The International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship is aimed at overseas students studying the International Baccalaureate who have demonstrated academic excellence in their studies. All overseas students receiving this award will receive a first year tuition fee waiver worth up to £6,000.

Scholarship value
If eligible you will receive one of the following:

  • If you achieve 44 points or higher in your IB you will receive a £6,000 first year tuition fee waiver
  • If you achieve 43 points in your IB you will receive a £3,000 first year tuition fee waiver
  • If you achieve 42 points in your IB you will receive a £1,500 first year tuition fee waiver

How to apply
If you apply to Bath and meet the eligibility criteria you will be considered automatically for the International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship.

We will notify you by email if we determine that you are eligible for either or both of these awards upon confirmation of your examination results.

Following Brexit and changes to funding for EU students, the University is reviewing the International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship for 2021 entry.

Eligibility

In order to receive the International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship you must:

  • Be assessed as a new first year overseas fee paying student
  • Accept a place on a full-time campus based undergraduate course starting in 2020
  • Achieve 42 points or higher in the International Baccalaureate (IB)
