To reward the high level of academic excellence displayed by many of our incoming International and U.S. students, Queen's offers a range of scholarships to students entering the first year of any first-entry undergraduate program of study.
No application is required for these awards. Recipients of these scholarships will be selected automatically based on academic achievement alone. By applying for admission to Queen's all eligible applicants are automatically considered for a grades-based admission scholarship. Some automatic admission scholarships are renewable, and have specific conditions a student must meet in order to renew their award. We also offer additional automatic admission awards to international students.

At Queen's, we value our people and are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment. From department assistants and librarians to admissions coordinators and researchers, our staff and faculty are the heart of the Queen's experience. We are people who want to learn, discover, think, and do. We push the limits of what can be achieved and develop ideas that can make a difference in the world. For more than 175 years, our community has been more than a collection of bright minds – Queen’s has attracted people with an ambitious spirit. We imagine what the future can be, and work together to realize it.
Queen's is located in the city of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, half-way between Montreal and Toronto, two of Canada's largest cities. Kingston is situated on the shores of Lake Ontario, near the entrance to the St. Lawrence River and Thousand Islands, and the Rideau Canal. The best way to get to know Queen’s is by coming to visit. Explore our historic buildings, attend cultural events, and spend some time in our distinguished museums, archives, and galleries. We love sharing our campus and community!
Queen’s University has developed a number of strategic plans and other documents that help define the university’s priorities and guide its decision-making. These plans work collectively to advance the university’s vision as Canada’s research-intensive university that delivers a transformative student learning experience. In particular, the Strategic Framework serves as a capstone to Queen’s strategic planning exercises over the past few years, by identifying the four key strategic drivers that will advance the university’s mission to 2019.
