Established in 2018 by members of the McGill Community in commemoration of the six men who lost their lives as a result of the massacre at the Centre culturel Islamique de Québec that took place on January 29, 2017.
Awarded by a selection committee chaired by the Associate Provost (Equity and Academic Policies), or delegate, on an annual basis up to two students in good academic standing, enrolled in any McGill degree program. Applicants will have demonstrated a commitment to fostering the inclusion of Muslims within Quebec and Canadian society.
