Scholars International Group of schools celebrated the “Year of the 50th” for UAE’s Golden Jubilee. Clarion School, Dubai Scholars and Scholars International Academy in collaboration with our wonderful parents committee all dutifully created a wonderfully immersive event for our children to experience the authentic traditions of the UAE.

Folkroic dancers brought music and life into our hearts, henna artists showed us their artistic talent, students indulged in pottery making and local food filled the schools with the delightful aroma of home cooked meals.

In each of the schools, students were engaged with activities directly related to National Day and the history of the UAE – a place we call home. We shared our thoughts on what the next 50 years will look like for the UAE and the common theme of family, friends and robots came up time and time again!

What does the UAE mean to you?

For us it is a place of family, love and acceptance.
