Repton Al Barsha & Repton Dubai present Repton-Manzil Collective at DIFC Art Nights

Students from Repton Al Barsha and Repton Dubai, in collaboration with the Manzil Center for people with disabilities, worked on distinctive art installations for the DIFC Art Nights, showcased from 24 – 25 March 2022.

The students collaborated to produce artwork that included ‘Destruction’, a set of sculptures that took inspiration from the Easter Island Heads embellished with garbage and trash to highlight the state of the planet, as well as ‘Framing our Future’, a frame structure that explores themes of sustainability, growing up and waste.

Additionally, senior students from Repton Dubai created unique art pieces touching on themes of self-identity and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, overcoming difficulties, and standing up for your rights, while Year 9 students from Repton Al Barsha presented two stunning mixed media creations. Students from Manzil Center also displayed three vibrant paintings inspired by technology and the Museum of the Future.
