Beijing Huijia Private School

Founded in 1993, Beijing Huijia Private School is one of the earliest schools in China certified by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Huijia is a boarding and day school with primary, middle and high school sections that serve both Chinese and international students. The school currently has 75 classes, more than 2000 Chinese and international students and more than 500 employees from different countries and regions. It is one of the largest and earliest private schools in Beijing.

A group of talented, forward-thinking teachers at the International School of Geneva, with assistance from several other international schools, created the IB Diploma Programme. What started life as a single programme for internationally mobile students preparing for university, has today grown into four programmes for students aged 3 to 12.

The IB Middle Years Programme, for students aged 11 to 16, provides a framework of academic challenge that encourages students to embrace and understand the connections between traditional subjects and the real world, and become critical and reflective thinkers.

The IB Diploma Programme, for students aged 16 to 19, is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students for success at university and beyond.
