Glenfield College

Glenfield College was established in 1969 as a co-educational secondary school serving the local community.

Our school motto is “Pride and Respect”. These values underpin the philosophy and culture across the wide range of activities offered throughout the school. Students are encouraged to realise their potential, develop their talents
and learn new skills in a supportive and positive environment.

We value a strong partnership between the student, their home and the school, all supported by a robust mentoring programme. We promise an inclusive and inspiring education with values.

At Glenfield College, we aim to serve families in the surrounding areas with a relevant and exciting learning environment, while simultaneously encouraging our students to become the best versions of themselves.

Academic achievement and progress are our main priorities, yet we also aim to develop the whole person. We provide a multitude of experiences in leadership, sports, arts and cultural activities, as well as opportunities to enjoy the challenges offered by educational outdoor experiences outside the classroom.

We capitalise on our small school roll to provide a personalised mentoring system, which supports each student to pursue their goals with self-belief and a clear plan.

A school-wide focus is on setting high standards for everyone. Underpinning this is the Glenfield Way, which comprises the eight values that are the pillars of our school culture. The Glenfield Way provides quality principles that will hold our students in good stead as global citizens.
