UISZ provides an co-educational, international, English language learning environment catering to students from aged 3 onwards, who represent over 20 nationalities.
At UISZ, we are proud to offer all three of the International Baccalaureate’s high-quality programmes: the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. As a Continuum 1B World School, we are able to provide our students with a globally-relevant, international-minded education.

As a day and boarding school, we consider positive personal relationships as meaningful as academic subject matter. UISZ believes that high-quality learning takes place when our community feels safe and nurtured. High-quality learning enables our community to explore their learning through inquiry, is focused on conceptual understanding, and is differentiated to adapt and meet all our students’ needs. Both formative and summative assessments are used to measure their impact and help students in their academic progress. This is facilitated by the IB curriculum frameworks and a focus on a skills-based curriculum.

Global Citizenship is supported in many ways at UISZ. Our curriculum explores concepts, ideas and issues that have local and global significance. In so doing, teachers, students and parents become adaptive to the changing world and develop an understanding across a broad and balanced range of disciplines. The service and action programmes promote allegiance and service to the global community, to the planet, seeing its people, animals and the environment as interdependent. A connected and sustainable global community requires individuals to make an impact, be courageous and see service as key to the flourishing of the planet.
