Encore! And Dubai Opera announce a new series of concerts in the Studio ‘Global Notes’ The new generation of classical music ambassadors from the World to Dubai’

Dubai, UAE: Encore, the leading performing arts company in Dubai which specialises in classical music and the arts, in collaboration with Dubai Opera and new Education Partner, the Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai present the launch of the new “Global Notes” concerts in the Studio. This exciting new annual series of ten concerts will be launched with a Gala Performance by the world renowned dynamic German violinist, Linus Roth and pianist, Boris Kusnezow on the 27th of October.

Global Notes is a new concert series, curated by Artistic Director Amira Fouad of Encore and continuing a legacy of over 100 concerts and masterclasses at Dubai Opera’s Studio. Dedicated to celebrating cultural diversity and supporting young musicians from around the world this exclusive series will offer a delightful programme of familiar favourites, classical masterpieces and lesser-known gems.

Prodigious talents will include inspirational pianist Anna Fedorova from Ukraine, the violinist Coco Tomita from Japan, virtuoso clarinettist Julian Bliss from the UK and Cuban pianist, Marcos Madrigal as well as many more. Continuing the successful collaborations between Dubai Opera and Encore, Global Notes will also feature upcoming young Emirati talents, the UAE’s National Youth Orchestra and the Dubai debut concert of the exciting rising star and First Prize Winner of the prestigious Sydney International Piano Competition, Korean pianist Jeongwhan Kim.

For Linus Roth’s debut gala concert in Dubai and following his recent concerts at London’s Wigmore Hall, he will be performing a sublime repertoire of compelling pieces from Brahms to Bartok highlighting his virtuosic and dynamic musicality. Accompanying him, Boris Kusnezow is one of the most sought-after collaborative pianists of his generation. He performs with eminent instrumentalists and singers worldwide. Linus Roth plays on the Stradivarius violin “Dancla” from 1703 – a kind loan from the music foundation of the L-Bank Baden-Württemberg.
