2. Winter School by Sydney Youth Orchestras
SYO will be bringing our residential Youth Orchestral Camp to Armidale for an intensive and fun week of orchestral music making. During the camp you will stay, rehearse and perform alongside SYO musicians, and some of the very best conductors and instrumental tutors in Australia. It’s going to be a blast!
Over 250 musicians will collaborate with regional musicians from across NSW.

Winter jazz camp is a non-residential camp held over three days at the JWA studio in St Leonards. It includes groups for beginner to advanced jazz students. It is open to ages 9 to 17. This camp is for people who can already play an instrument and are at least good enough to play in a school band. Pretty well any instrument is fine for this camp: check with us if you aren’t sure. Vocalists can do the camp if they are prepared to use their voice as an instrument, just like everyone else.
