BPIS developed out of the established English/Bi-lingual (Thai-English) Programme of Burapa English Programme School of Thailand (BEST) which has been operated for over 20 years.
In line with the policies of the National Economics and Social Development Board of 2015, by which time Thailand had become a leading member of the ASEAN Economic Community – a significant project to drive Thai Economic and Industrial expansion in the Eastern Seaboard Area.
The School Board of Directors decided to establish an International School to support children in Pattaya, where there is a growing community of foreign families.
BPIS established a secondary education structure founded on the UK National Curriculum (Key Stages 3-5 or Year 7-13) and initiated the process of establishing itself as an educational facility and received the license as a new International School on March 9th 2018. It commenced the first academic year on August 20th 2018.
BPIS is a young International School proud of the collaborative work between the Student Council Members and the Academic Team, for it provides an opportunity for the students to be included in the decision-making process for the welfare of the school. I am a graduate student of BPIS and i studied here for a few years. the school itself offers a British Curriculum education and provides IGCSE courses for people who need them, however, if someone doesn’t want to take IGCSEs then it’s not mandatory. while i was studying i had a teacher named Mr. Behrouz Shahnaz and he’s a person whom i deeply admire and respect. he’s always lent me and my friends a helping hand and did whatever he could to make the school a better place. he is now the principal of the school and has brought noticeable improvement and change.

I graduate from here in the year 2020, this school Strictly offered IGCSE curriculum along with other activities and events, both Thai and International.
I would say that the best thing to me was the memories that I made with my classmates and the other thing is our English teacher, Mr. Behrouz. He is the best teacher you could ever ask for, from his style of teaching, the progressive attitude, he has gain the respect of my whole class. Now he is the principal of the school, despite his busy duty, he still teaches English.
To add furthermore, Mr.Behrouz has help me with many of my University affairs.
In my opinion Mr.Behrouz is very easy to approach and feel very close to him personally, I was afraid to ask at first but he assured me that he would help to the best of his ability eventhough I graduated a year prior.
Moreover, he is available everyday of the week no matter what time. He went above and beyond to help his students.
