My degree in Psychology has provided me with a deep foundational knowledge of child development, I am adept at recognizing and nurturing the social-emotional needs of young learners, implementing strategies to build empathy, resilience, and positive peer relationships. This understanding allows me to proactively manage a classroom community where every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn.

Complementing this, my B.Ed. degree has given me the practical tools to effectively teach foundational skills. Through my student teaching placement in a primary classroom, I gained hands-on experience in developing engaging, differentiated lesson plans for literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning. I am skilled in utilizing assessment to guide instruction and am passionate about creating a vibrant classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning.
