American University in Dubai has announced that distance learning will continue through the end of the spring semester, concluding on Friday, May 1, 2026.
AUD emphasised that student safety and well-being remain its top priority, stating: “Our focus remains on academic continuity, and we are here to ensure you have uninterrupted access to the resources, faculty guidance, and support systems you rely on.”
On March 30, the American University of Sharjah has also announced that remote operations will continue until further notice while the institution closely monitors developments.
All classes and assessments will be held online, and faculty and staff will continue working remotely.
Earlier, NYU Abu Dhabi also moved classes online until further notice.
In an email, Provost Arlie Petters, COO Amol Dani, and interim Vice Chancellor Fabio Piano wrote, “We know how difficult this is and how important our campus has always been to our scholars and community as we lean on one another.”
