Aldar Education champions H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum initiative and unites over 300 students, parents, teachers and staff in nationwide UAE flag activation
Over 300 students, parents, teachers and staff across Aldar Education’s network proudly united at Yas Mall for one of the UAE’s largest coordinated, school-led national pride activations.
Aldar Education championed this initiative in direct response to the national call by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to raise the UAE flag as a symbol of national pride and identity, marking a celebratory moment as students prepare to resume on campus learning. The gathering included a large-scale flag-raising, the collective singing of the UAE national anthem, a live poem recital, and a unified community pledge. Students participated in school uniforms, military attire and traditional Emirati dress, creating a powerful visual representation of national pride and unity. The event provided a meaningful opportunity for students to reconnect in person, reinforcing a sense of belonging and shared identity as schools transition back to on-campus learning. Parallel activations were also conducted across multiple schools within the network.
Sahar Cooper, CEO of Aldar Education, said:
“At Aldar Education, it is our responsibility to create meaningful platforms for students to engage with the values that define the UAE, and to express that in ways that bring communities together. What we witnessed was a powerful and deeply moving moment—one that captured the true spirit of unity and national pride.
At a time when our students are returning to their campuses, it was especially meaningful to come together and celebrate their resilience. Standing among our students—Emirati and expatriate, young and old, dressed in uniforms, military attire, and traditional UAE national dress—I felt profound gratitude: for a leadership that inspires unity, for a nation that gives us so much to celebrate, and for a community that shows up not because they have to, but because they want to.
Seeing our community come together in such a visible and purposeful way reflects the strength of their connection to the nation and the role they play in carrying its story forward. We are proud to unite and bring this initiative to life across our network of Aldar Education, Charter and ADNOC schools.”
