Global Indian International School (GIIS) SMART Campus has once again delivered an exceptional performance in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) May 2026 examinations, with five students achieving a perfect score of 45 out of 45 to earn the prestigious title of IBDP World Toppers.
The graduating cohort also produced nine Near-Perfect Scorers with 44 points, while the school recorded an outstanding average of 37.5 points, reflecting the consistency of its academic excellence and the strength of its personalised approach to learning.
Leading this remarkable achievement are Avni Jain, Kiana Ketul Kamdar, Siddhanth Subramanian, Kritika Tripathy, and Leah Elizabeth Varghese, who secured the maximum possible score of 45 points, placing them among the highest-performing IBDP students in the world.
The cohort’s success extended well beyond the top scores, with 12 students scoring
43 points, 61 students achieving 40 points and above, 80 students scoring 38 points and above, and 103 students securing 35 points and above. In addition, students attained an impressive 67.2% of grades at Level 6 and 7, underscoring the depth of academic achievement across the graduating class.
Commenting on the results, School Principal Ms Deepika Sodhi said: “I am incredibly proud of the IBDP Class of 2026 for their outstanding achievements. Their remarkable outcomes reflect the commitment our students have shown in embracing every challenge with determination and resilience, and the persistent guidance of our experienced educators.”
Ms Sodhi said the school has built a culture of excellence where curiosity is nurtured and students are empowered to reach their fullest potential. She also thanked the parent community for their continuous trust in the school and its faculty. “These achievements are equally a reflection of the unwavering commitment of our dedicated educators and the constant encouragement of our supportive parent community,” she said, adding that the results are expected to further improve after the re-evaluation process.
Many students thanked their teachers for the results, and added that their university pathway is now clear. Of the cohort, many had received conditional offers from foreign universities for pursuing higher studies in fields of their choice and many will now take up the offer.
