Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation began its efforts to found Özyeğin University in the autumn of 2005. The foundation of Özyeğin University entailed a comprehensive study that involved more than 500 persons including businessmen, faculty members, as well as university and high school students in addition to a study entitled "Developing Sectors and Professions in Turkey and in the World". Taking the results of these studies as a baseline, the core values and vision of the university are discussed and identified in collaboration with all stakeholders in line with the design efforts carried out by ARAMA. A campus life for everyone. When I came here at the first time the physical appearance of university attracted me a lot. Modern architecture in balance with nature... There is a big sport center, there are a lot of labs for scientific research, there are prayer rooms in almost every building, a corridor for student clubs, a lot of public places, there are studying rooms in every building, a little studio and many things too. I liked here.
