Ekin College

The foundation process of Ekin College started in 1996 and the school was launched in 1998 by Reşitoğlu and Baykal families who are devoted, fervent believers in education.

Prior to the foundation of the school, research was conducted into successful educational systems, models, approaches and techniques around the world. The data collected was compared with, analyzed and incorporated into our national educational system under the guidance of educational experts. The physical structure of the school was designed to serve the needs of our educational programme.

In 1998, Ekin College initiated its educational journey with primary 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades and since than has grown progressively. In the short period of time since its foundation, Ekin College has established itself as a successful educational institution.

Our vision is to be an exemplary and leading school of the ‘‘ Information Society’’ with a ‘‘learning school’’ model which is based on democratic and creative personality education and focusing on continuous development in accordance with the universal education system.

Our mission is Considering the ‘’Each child is a particular world’’ principle, to ensure its students to be such individuals who improve their skills and capabilities, care for the culture of the geography where they live who is responsible, self-confident, able to think in a creative and critical way, have improved problem solving and cooperation conscious and are valuable and successful in their own respective fields. To ensure that our students shall be conscious of their intellectual and ethical development and capable of confronting any challenges and opportunities in their life with bravery and self-confidence. To make a difference and create value by using our human resources, infrastructure, academic knowledge build-up and experience so that our students shall be individuals who have a high living success, are sophisticated, competent and leader in their own respective fields.

We believe that our society needs democratic, intellectual, creative, succesfull and happy individuals of good character who are equipped with problem solving skills. We aim to raise such individuals with the idea that “Every child is a different world.” This motto forms the basis of our philosophy of education.

Springing from this philosophy, our educational approaches and techniques are student and learning based. Students have the opportunity to “learn-by-doing.” We strive to raise creative, responsible, respectful individuals with good communciation skills who value life long learning.

Student raised with these principles will no doubt develop constantly in all respects and they will be in key positions in the future, working for the progress of our country.
