Adventist International Mission School (AIMS) is a Seventh-day Adventist private school registered under Seventh-day Adventist Foundation and operated by the Adventist International Mission School Board of Directors under the auspices of Southeast Asia Union Mission. It is a co-educational school for students from preschool to grade 12 and serves as a laboratory school for the Asia-Pacific International University Education Department.

While AIMS espouses the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we welcome all applicants who are willing to work within the conservative social framework of the school regardless of religious beliefs.

High standards for every phase of the student’s educational career have been set at AIMS. We believe that the students we accept are capable of achieving the standards set.

Adventist International Mission School (AIMS) is one of the finest International Schools in Thailand that provides quality education, nurturing students to become Critical Thinkers, Effective Communicators, Exemplary Workers, Caring Citizens, and Self-Managers. At Adventist International Mission School, we encourage creativity and innovation while we value effective traditional methods of teaching and believe we can judiciously appropriate the best of both.

Mission Statement: The primary emphasis of Adventist International Mission School is to provide an ethos in which the Holy Spirit can process and imprint the image of God in each child; and to provide a balanced educational program that promotes academic excellence and the wholesome development of a child.

Vision Statement: Our vision is to nurture spirit-filled, lifelong learners, equipped with Christ-like characters who are catalysts for change and dedicated to exemplary service.

Objectives: Adventist International Mission School (AIMS) provides a program of education for students predicated on the belief that each student is unique and of inestimable value. These students are educated to accept service as a way of life and to be sensitive to the needs of people in the home and in society. Christian teachers are dedicated to encouraging students to become responsible individuals who respect God, appreciate cultural diversity, and who value themselves as created beings.

The school endeavors to provide a learning experience that will enhance the student’s previous learning, develop natural talents, and:

  • Promote the desire to achieve academic excellence
  • Encourage a wholesome respect and attitude for each unit of society - home, church, school, and
    government
  • Develop physical skills
  • Develop effective communication skills
  • Inculcate and practice Christian values
  • Enhance artistic skills

In 1990 Mrs. Canady established the English Elementary School. This school was established for the education of children of the (formerly Mission College) faculty and staff. The Far Eastern Division and Asia-Pacific International

In 1999, the Muaklek church, under the leadership of Pastor Wendel Wilcox, established the Mission Kindergarten School for the children of workers of Asia-Pacific International University. On May 17, 2000, the Mission Kindergarten School was registered with the Saraburi Education Department.

In May 2000 the two schools were combined and the process for the government license for the school was initiated. The newly merged school, Adventist International Mission School (AIMS), would serve the children of Asia-Pacific International University personnel and the children in the Muaklek community who wanted their children to participate in a Christian International education program. The government license was issued April 2002.

The English Elementary School was originally located in a room in the Asia-Pacific International University administration building. In 1999 it was relocated to a vacated residential duplex. The Day Care Center was located in a vacated apartment building in the same vicinity. In 2003 the already merged schools, now Adventist International Mission School moved to the newly built school building in front of Asia Pacific International University (Mission College).

This is a Seventh-Day Adventist school based in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand providing wholistic Christian education to the students. There is also a Seventh-Day Adventist Church in campus if ever you are in the neighborhood.

As a younger student in KAIS, I didn't have a definite answer as to what course of study I would take in university. Thankfully, KAIS taught me enough basics of every subject, that I would be ready to undergo any course. KAIS has a great environment to teach English because of the diversity of teachers and students. I am still in my first year as a university student and I’m already thanking many of my high school teachers in KAIS.

Cute little school. The students have good English and get along with each other well. It is nice to see older and younger students talking and playing together. I even saw a rare sight in Thailand: a student reading a book, without pictures, for fun!

This school focuses not only on training students to excel in academics but also guiding them in building a good character.
The school has well-maintained facilities and is upgrading them to increase the quality of its learning environment.
