Al-Hamra Integrated School

Al Hamra Integrated School is a project initiated by a group of parents in Kota Damansara, Selangor. The name Al-Hamra is derived from a palace and fortress in Andalusia during the great Islamic Civilisation which symbolises a true Islamic historical legacy when Muslim were champions of the world. As a result, the name was chosen to get the whole mantra to “recapture” Al-Hamra, in order to inspire our students to reclaim the glories of the past by becoming champions of the future.

Our vision is to be an exemplary Islamic education institution that produces inspiring future leaders. Our mission is creating the culture of Khairu Ummah while focusing on educational excellence in guidance of Islamic principles that are based on Quran and Sunnah

At Al-Hamra, we believe that nurturing champions begins with the nurturing of their heart. Science stipulates that the heart influences every part of the body and failure of the heart will affect one’s entire well-being.

Islam has also evidently demonstrated this understanding through its teachings from thousands of years ago. Our Prophets have enlightened us that a righteous Muslim embodies good morals inside and out, and indeed this stems from the virtue of the heart.

We understand that this goes beyond physical attributes. The saying delineates that to be wise is to be shaped from within, and that is through the nurturing of the faith. That is why we make ‘the heart of education is the education of the heart’ as the deep-rooted philosophy that guides us in each and every step we take.

We aim to develop a generation that perceives not only with their intelligence, but with their intuitions as well – a thriving generation whose success coincides with morals and ethics grounded from the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

Our mission extends beyond academic excellence. We are devoted to inculcating meaningful life values and inspire future credible leaders as we seek to create a culture of Khairu Ummah.
