The name of the school "Al-Hamraa" was inspired from Al-Hambra Palace located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. Built in the 14th century, it is one of the most popular buildings in Andalusia exhibiting Muslim art. Exploring this palace will show that it is not just a palace but an Islamic building integrated into its surroundings. Reflecting this, Al Hamraa School was built in the heart of Jeddah in 1995. Since then, Al- Hamraa School has established and promoted a rich, cultured environment in the city of Jeddah.

The school is located in the center of Jeddah, Al Hamraa urban district. The school is composed of two buildings where each consists of 4 stories. The courses that make up the curriculum are carefully selected to prepare and strengthen the knowledge and skills of the students by providing the most proven educational strategies and knowledge.

We strive to develop an intellectual, inquirer, and reflective generation, ready to shape their future using principles and accumulation of knowledge in a coherent way, empowered by hardworking. We perceive Al Hamraa School as a pioneer in the pursuit of intellectual and cognitive development, aiming to raise a creative, and unique generation, influential in its community. Al Hamraa School founded its educational approaches and management style on values’ framework clearly visible in the school’s vision and mission.

Al Hamraa School founded its educational approaches and management style on values’ framework clearly visible in the school’s vision and mission and promoted among students. To that end, a magnetic Values Tree is placed in the classrooms, to embody these values and encourage students to complete it individually or collaboratively. When distinguished by a specific value, the student or the classroom will earn a leaf representing this value and they will place it on the Values Tree. In addition, teachers promise to promote and uphold the integrity of the teaching profession, by executing their duties thoroughly and responsibly, and realizing that they have a significant role to play in development of an intellectual, inquirer and reflective generation.

I have been in alhamra school since KG2 and I have very much enjoyed my time there. This school doesn’t just educate you on academic things , the teachers there put a lot of time and effort into helping you with things outside of school after you graduate. I have learned so so many things that I can implement in my life. I have also made friends almost every where I went. The school is filled with nice ,wholesome and genuine people , you just have to know where to look. I’m very grateful for the memories I was able to make with my friends and teachers and I would definitely recommend this school to many others. It’s such a wonderful place to grow up in.
