AlKarma language School was established in 2004 by a group of businessmen. They had the vision of providing a healthy environment for children where they can grow into useful members of the society. Alkarma Language School is a lively, stimulating, caring and secure environment for your children where they can grow into a well-balanced personality. At KLS, discipline is our means, accepting differences is our challenge and love is our language in fostering a thoughtful and positive attitude to school and community.

Language is the basis of learning in all disciplines. All teachers are language teachers. Therefore, teachers of all subjects will take time to teach vocabulary and structures relevant to their subject. They will take into account the four skills of language learning (reading, writing, listening and speaking).

Our mission is to guide students while forming their values, developing their skills and discovering their potential.Encourage an atmosphere in which they are allowed a certain amount of freedom that would enable them to express themselves. Teach them their rights as well as their duties.

The school's ethos is that of fostering a thoughtful and positive student's attitude towards school and community and helping him/her grow into well-balanced personality. In that sense, we ensure to be kind yet firm, loving yet not spoiling, creative yet not chaotic.

At Alkarma we do not overlook healthcare and consider it as an integral component of our spectrum of services. This is provided through the school clinic, the resident doctor as well as teachers who are also trained for first aid. The school boasts an enormous theatre with a specially constructing stage and a commodious space back stage. Our community agrees that dealing with each other and with conflict is best handled through a group of core concepts. Respect for others:

  • Listen while others speak.
  • Keep yourself and others safe.
  • Use positive language.
  • Treat others as you wish to be treated.
