These scholarships are offered by the ANU College of Science.

The Alex Rodgers Travelling Scholarship is offered to one or two RSAA graduate students to travel abroad with direct relevance to their thesis work (It will not be awarded to fund an overseas observing run). The award is based on scientific merit of the program, benefit of the program to RSAA and the student, and the effective use of the funds from the scholarship.

Please contact the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics to obtain an application form. Applicatons close 28 February each year.

Eligibility

Full-time current RSAA PhD student. A successful applicant is ineligible to apply again. Australian and New Zealand citizens; Permanent residents of Australia; International students.
