Admission Requirements in Algeria

There are four main steps or procedures to complete before one can study in Algeria.

1. Equivalence of Education

An Equivalence of Education should be obtained from the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Prospective students must visit the ministry’s website and follow the instructions. They will have to provide original and authenticated diplomas and certificates.

2. Register for the university

Register for the university through online forms. The Equivalence of Education will dictate as to when a student is eligible to enrol in a specific Algerian university.

3. Selection & Assessment

The next step after registration is selection and assessment. Foreign students applying for a university will undergo assessment and training. After this, students will have to settle administrative school fees and provide all documents required by the university.

  • Original Copy of Birth certificate
  • Original Diplomas
  • Three Passport sized photos

4. Get a student visa
