The Alice Smith School has a humble beginning and its story is wonderful to tell. As we are ‘not for profit’, all of the revenue from school fees is invested in the education of the children and maintaining and developing the quality of the school’s facilities and resources. We are the only British international school in Kuala Lumpur which is 'not for profit', with two stunning campuses, Primary and Secondary, providing world-class facilities and an abundance of green, open spaces.

An integral part of our school’s mission and vision is the enriching, holistic education our students experience beyond the classroom.

Initiatives which develop your child personally, socially, ethically and emotionally are very much part of school life at Alice Smith and play an important role in nurturing a positive self-esteem from an early age.

At the Primary Campus, your child will go on trips throughout the year to reinforce what they are learning in the classroom. In Years 4, 5 and 6, they go on residential trips within Malaysia, an experience that promotes independence, collaboration and the development of personal skills. In addition, Year Six students participate in a Challenge Award designed to encourage personal growth, self-confidence, perseverance and responsibility.

At the Secondary Campus, from international work behind the Model United Nations to fundraising, helping in the community, personal challenge awards, cultural days, extra curricular activities, wider learning days, Creative and Expressive Arts performances, participating in international sporting competitions, trips and expeditions; opportunities are vast for all students.

Additionally, as part of our careers programme and Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) curriculum, we also run a full week of work experience for Key Stage 4 and 5 students. This individual development allows your child to grasp a better understanding of what is required in the real world.

They know that grades alone will not secure places at top universities and therefore our enrichment programme is an integral part of their experience.
