Scholarship value
The Head, School of Economics will determine the value of the scholarship each year, but will be at least $10,000.
Founded in 1911 by an initial gift of $1,000 from the beneficiaries in the estate of the late Honourable John Archibald, MLC. The Archibald Scholarship is maintained by an endowment fund which is open to further gifts.
The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and reward the study of economics at The University of Queensland.

You will automatically be considered for this scholarship as part of application and admission process to the Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and the Economics major in the Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours).
This scholarship is not available by application.
You will be considered for the award of a Scholarship in a year, if you:
Specified courses are ECON2010, ECON2020, ECON2030, ECON2040, ECON2050, ECON2300, ECON3010, ECON3020, ECON3350 or ECON3360.
