Avans University of Applied Sciences was founded on 1 January 2004 following a merger of Hogeschool Brabant and Hogeschool 's-Hertogenbosch. We make a sustainable difference. We train future-proof professionals ready to enter the workforce. Continuously develop new knowledge for education and society. In partnership with companies, institutions and government agencies. Our students and employees engage in multidisciplinary collaboration and come up with creative solutions which benefit society as a whole. At Avans University of Applied Sciences, around 29,500 students study 48 different courses. 2,800 employees work at 20 schools, 4 support services units and 1 centre for learning and innovation.

Ik heb de opleiding Adviseren en effectief communiceren van september tot november ’19 gevolgd omdat ik deze opleiding zakelijk wilde gaan gebruiken. Al bij de eerste lesdag kwam ik erachter dat dit ook een persoonlijke zoektocht zou worden. Ik wist dat ik vast zat in patronen en gewoonten waarin ik steeds dezelfde fouten maakte en daardoor mijn talenten niet volledig benutte. Deze patronen, die uiteindelijk bleken voort te komen uit mijn gezin van herkomst, heb ik verder terug afgepeld. De studiebuddy’s bleken hierbij van grote waarde. De trainer Danielle Officier: Grote klasse! Ze heeft me mijn vertrouwen teruggegeven in mijn zijn. Samengevat: Door de lesstof, de individuele opdrachten en de groepsdynamiek, krijgt iedereen zijn eigen moment van inzicht en bewustwording. Nb. Mij rest te vermelden dat de opleiding zonder opleidingsmanager Marjon François niet de kwaliteit zou hebben die ze nu wel degelijk heeft. Mijn complimenten Marjon!
