Teachers do a tough job every day, in and out of the classroom. From organizing exam papers, to carefully crafting each lesson plan, and execute them with such jest, they too, need some help.

Here are some useful classroom organization hacks to bring order and fun to every teacher’s learning space.

Students will pick-up a random question from the parking lot board and answer them. This is an effective way to make sure students are learning.

You don’t have to spend too much to be organized. You can simply use old file folders and wrap them with gift wrappers or old newspaper. You’ll have a clutter-free desk and classroom in an instant.

You can get a drawer and label each one on the day of the week. You can put some papers that need some urgent action in one drawer and others with less urgent matters. You just need to think creatively how to categorize each.

This is your teacher survival kit. It can include scissors, punchers, and staplers –anything you would need and always finds it difficult to locate.

Got any old trophies at home? You can repurpose them as trophies for students who do well in class. Just re-label them and your students will appreciate it.

Instead of using an adhesive tape or a stapler, use a clothespin. No waste and not much effort to deal with removing staple wires on the board. Use this board to display best works of your students.

Pictures of positive and educational quotes can be hung all over your room or in the hallways. Tell your students to pick a favorite and explain what the quote means to them. After you pick their favorite quote, ask them to stand in front of the class and tell everyone why they like the quote. You can also use these inspirational quotes as a form of decoration for your classroom’s blank walls.

Use an old refrigerator door to display your students’ crafts and projects. This can make your students feel special and appreciated. At the same time, this gesture can motivate them to create better artworks.

Store iPads easily with old file drawers. You can use a box to store all the headphones.

Hate that squeaky sound when students move their chairs around for a group activity? Tennis balls may come in handy.

Encourage your students to put any missing items in the bucket or box.

For those kids who just need to move, tying a band below the chair will allow them to fidget their feet.This way, they can use their hands freely to write or do another activity.

You can keep quiet toys such as Tangles, putty, and fidget spinner in a bin. It’s useful for kids to stay focused.

Your student center could be a place where they can get supplies they’re missing. Do this to efficiently run your classroom. You can modify it according to your classroom’s needs.

Always keep a box of pencils ready just in case other students might forget it.

This corner can help children relax and be focused. This is useful when a student gets excited, sharpening pencils helps calm him or her down.

Some teachers find it annoying for students to always go on breaks while the lesson is on. Try putting up a battery-operated push lights to let them know if they’re allowed to go to the washroom.

These folders are better options than huge boxes which are not space-saving.

If you leave worksheets or flyers on their desks, chances are it will get lost. Create these “mailboxes” and put a sign outside. Each student gets a mail (folder) of homework they won’t misplace.

When students are done with their tasks for the day, you can ask them to pick something out of the board and do it. This can be minor tasks such as cleaning up their desk, the library, or anything you can think of.

A mini-library is useful for students so they can read anytime they had finished an assignment.

Creating incentives can always be a bit difficult. A punch-it wall can be a good idea. After kids punch it, they will get a strip of paper with an incentive.

You can keep water bottles here so it’s away from the children’s desks.

Try using QR codes to help them learn their sight words. Make sure they’re in alphabetical order!

These DIY Bucket stools are great alternatives to normal, boring student chairs.

“Today’s Experts” is a good idea to start. If kids have questions, they know who else they can ask for help instead of you. Kids who volunteer can also get tokens.
