The Bean Counters Achievement Award was established by members of the local chapters of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, CPA Australia, and the Hunter TAFE Foundation, to offer support and encouragement to promising students currently studying the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping at a TAFE NSW located in the Central Coast or Hunter regions, or through TAFE Digital.
This award recognises commitment to study and provides encouragement to transition into the workplace.
There are two awards, each valued at $500, and an additional $2,000 is available for recipients who enrol in the Diploma of Accounting within 18 months of receiving the award.

The Hunter TAFE Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation working with business, education, and community leaders to support education and training at TAFE NSW in the Hunter and Central Coast region.
Established in 2000, the Foundation provides financial support to TAFE NSW students in the Hunter and Central Coast, who are experiencing either personal or financial hardship to assist them in completing their studies.
Throughout the 2018/19 financial year, the Foundation presented over 59 awards, scholarships and grants, providing over $77,600 in financial assistance to TAFE NSW students in need of support, encouragement and financial assistance to complete their studies. With your help, we can support even more students in the future.
