1. X Lab Summer Camp (July 14 – August 15)

Looking for children’s activities that are both fun and stimulating? X Labs multi-activity vacation camps will keep your kids busy, entertained and hungry to find out more about the wonderful world of science! Whether it’s using magic to unlock the secrets of of Harry Potter or exploring just what it is that makes Mars so cold, our camps help children develop their love for science while having a great time with lots of new friends.

Our fully-equipped laboratories and great location allow us to offer fun outdoor games in the morning and mind-blowing scientific experiments during the afternoon.

2. Spark Science Summer Camp (July 14 – Aug 15)

Our camps take place on a static Ship in Wollishofen Zürich. The boat doesn`t travel but it is located right upon the beautiful water of lake Zürich. We have access to a lovely playground and outside grassy field for sports that is shared with the community.

Ages: 6 to 11 years

3. Simply Summer – Simply Theatre Academy (June 30 – Aug 22)

Our expert tutors are committed and passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with our students as they create workshops that are simply wonderful. This summer our camps include acting and drama, moviemaking, musical theatre, vocal coaching, improvisation, magic and dance!

Each week-long course has a specific focus, set against a background of fun theatre games and exercises, song and movement. Students discover and learn many key components of an actor’s training, meet new friends and develop many valuable life skills to take them well beyond the stage. All of our camps are delivered in English.

4. Academicus Atelier Summer Camp (July 14 – August 11)

Looking for activities for kids in Zurich during the Summer Break? The Academicus Summer Camps are here to make your Summer in the city AMAZING! An action packed week, full of discovery and learning, we go with your kids out and about and engage in all that Zurich and its surroundings has to offer. We provide fun, active and creative activities for children 5+ years of age. Our goal is to make the Summer Break in Zurich exciting, educational and fun for kids. Our program offers a huge range of activities for kids, creative workshops and trips to top kids’ attractions in Zurich.

5. Zurich coding camps (June 30 – Aug 15)

⁠Our courses are generally taught in English unless otherwise stated on the product description. Students should have sufficient English knowledge to follow basic written and oral instructions in English.

⁠All our instructors are multilingual, and we make every effort to ensure German or French speaking instructors for junior courses to allow students the opportunity to ask questions in their native language, but we cannot guarantee this for all camps and courses.

6. Wyss Zurich BioSTARS summer camp (July 16 – 25)

⁠⁠You need to be at least 16 years old and must be resident in Switzerland. You need to be able to communicate fluently in English as most of the scientific parts of the camp will be held in English. You don’t need any lab experience etc. but lots of joy and excitement for the camp.

Please send us two files: a short CV (1) as well as an application letter or video (2). The letter/video should contain a minimum of 180 written or spoken words, the video should be no longer than 1:30 min. We encourage every type of creativity – but please show us your personality as we want to get to know you through your application and we want to understand your personal reasons for applying to the camp.

7. EPT summer camp (May 25 – 28)

⁠EPT summer camp is an event for PhD students and postdocs, organized by the EPT-hub.During this camp participants we will cover topics of engaging teaching techniques, transferable skills, equity and inclusion.The event of the EPT-hub is supported by Department of Physics and MaP Doctoral School at ETH Zurich.

8. Swiss Language & Adventure Summer Camp (July 7 – August 2)

During the UZH International Summer Schools students will get the best out of what the program has cumulated from student engagement and teaching formats over the last few years combined with exciting and highly interactive in-person sessions and a comprehensive social program.

12. Momizen Summer Day Camp

We scouted the region along with the most requested sports camps on Momizen and created a list for the sporty kids and those who want to explore sports during their holidays. The summer camps will not only free-up the hands of parents after the closing of schools in the Zurich region, but, above all, will help children have an unforgettable summer full of educational experiences, new friends and endless play!

Through games and physical exercises, a child develops strength, speed, flexibility and endurance while achieving motor development and proper neuromuscular coordination. Children who play sports develop self-confidence and improved social skills.

13. ICS Summer Camps

ICS offers summer holiday camps for ICS students and children from visiting families, aged 3-17, in partnership with our trusted partners TechSpark Academy, Close Encounters Theatre, InterSoccer and Tarci Tennis on the ICS Campus and at other venues.

14. Citizen Science Summer School – University of Zurich Summer School

The Citizen Science School welcomes early-career researchers and citizen science practitioners. The school is hosted by the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. Citizen science and other participatory approaches in scientific research have received broad attention in recent years. The motifs for involving citizens in science are manifold and range from the empowerment of marginalized groups to increasing the amount of data collected. Activities encompass small-scale local projects as well as large-scale international projects.
