BME International Secondary Grammar School

The BME International Secondary Grammar School is an IB DP school. The first group of 9 students have started the IB in September 2015. We are still expecting applications from students who have graduated from the 10th grade.

Mission Statement

The goal of education is to develop the self and find one's voice. To this aim the BME International Secondary School mentors students to reach high academic standards, engage in the school and local community and explore life ambitions while focusing on respect for the visions of others. Having a multinational student community, the BME International School stresses the integration of the student by developing meaningful relationships with other students, into the broader values and rationales of the international community.

Our school is proud of its students and teachers of several nationalities, who have different cultural background. We call ourselves international since 32 nations are represented in our school at the moment: Hungary, Afghanistan, Albania, The Czech Republic, Canada, Egypt, The Philippines, China, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Holland, India, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Libya, Moldova, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA, Vietnam.

There are several traditional and informal events organized by our school. Students are encouraged to participate in different activities (also to take part in the organization side of it) starting with the celebration of special days or journeys with Comenius eco-projects to Finland, but also just to enjoy a fun night by BKV bus maintained for our students.
