Since opening in 2011, BCB has become the school of choice for expatriate and Brazilian parents looking to provide their children with an international education. We are extremely proud of our pupils and strive to develop a warm and supportive atmosphere where they can thrive.

We offer a contemporary British international education to students in Early Years, Primary and Secondary up to Year 12, with provisions to grow into a full Secondary school in August 2020. The school has grown steadily to over a 605 - strong student body and boasts more than 38 nationalities, making it a truly diverse setting in which to study and work.

Along with the English National Curriculum, IGCSE and IB Diploma Program, our students learn Portuguese and Brazilian history, culture and geography. The British College of Brazil offers double certification. By obtaining the Brazilian diploma, students are allowed to continue their studies in Brazil, as the school is fully certified by the Ministry of Education.

Small class sizes allow teachers to focus on the individual needs of each pupil. All teachers have outstanding professional credentials from the UK with relevant experience in delivering the English National Curriculum followed by the IGCSE in Year 10 - 11 and the IB Diploma Program in Year 12. English speaking assistant teachers support all Primary classes.
