Our school is situated in Kings Norton, in South West Birmingham. We are a two form entry Infant school with a Nursery. We share our campus with Broadmeadow Junior School, with whom we have very close links.
For prospective parents there is information about the school, our ethos, standards and curriculum. For families with children at the school, we aim to provide another form of communication to keep you up to date with school events and help you to support your child. For our children, we hope you will enjoy sharing your work with friends and family, looking back at school events and all the fun and learning that goes on in our school.
We welcome visitors to school. If any prospective parents would like to be shown round school please contact our school secretary in the office to arrange a mutually convenient time. We value the involvement of the families with children at our school. If you have a skill or just some free time we would be delighted if you would join our band of helpers in school. Family members are also invited into school to share in a variety of special events during the year.
Our belief is that all children have the right to a stimulating learning environment where they are motivated to learn through the provision of a varied and exciting curriculum. We promote excellent standards of behaviour, have high expectations and are committed to high standards of achievement for all our children.

At Broadmeadow Infant and Nursery School we make provision for pupils who have any identified SEN need from within those listed below. We know that some pupils will have difficulties in more than one of these areas and we will always do our best to meet their needs. This information acts as a guide, but the things we do will vary and actual support will be based on the specific needs of each pupil.
At Broadmeadow class teachers have responsibility to ensure that all children are supported within lessons using a variety of teaching and learning strategies appropriate to their needs. This means that activities are planned according to the level the child is working at. This universal approach is known as Quality First Teaching.

Our School Values
- Our values were agreed together and form the basis for all that we do in school. They are woven into our policies, our lesson planning and our routines. We encourage staff and pupils to be aware of and to use these through our curriculum and through everyday activities. Our values are:
- Respect: We show respect to each other and to school property all of the time.We show respect by following our school rules and values and by our actions to each other.
- Aiming High: We always try our very best so that every day we know more and can do more. We have high expectations for ourselves and for others.
- Community: We welcome every member of our community to the school. We care for every member of our school community. We are an inclusive school, recognising and valuing diversity.
- Kindness: We are always kind to each other and think about how we can make sure our school is a happy, safe environment. We show kindness by caring and supporting each other, listening to each other and sharing ideas and resources.
