Bryn Teg Community Primary School

Bryn Teg is a successful, thriving and forward-thinking school, it is also a very happy one. Pupils, staff, parents and Governors work together well and constantly strive to improve. Best of all, we spend the day with smiles on our faces and good humour in our hearts. We aim to promote a caring and stimulating environment, in which our children are encouraged to develop respect for themselves and others in co-operative situations. We encourage self-discipline and the motivation to learn in an enjoyable and harmonious atmosphere.

At Bryn Teg we are positive. We hardly ever become angry and we rarely shout – we don’t need to because the children quickly learn to adapt and prosper in our supportive and caring environment.

As they develop Bryn Teg children discover that learning is fun and they want to do well for themselves, their friends, families and teachers. Our school motto is “REACH FOR THE STARS” and we continually encourage our pupils to always try that little bit harder to achieve even more success.

We want to give your child an education of the highest standard; we aim for excellence in all our school activities and encourage all children, whatever their ability, to achieve and be the best they possibly can. We support children and young people to achieve their potential and to stay safe. In addition to the 1 nursery, 97 primary schools, 12 secondary schools and 2 special schools that we maintain, we also provide a wide range of services including youth, home to school transport, school meals, school admissions & transfers, and support for school governors.

Educating our children to become safe, sensible users of new technologies is of utmost importance to us at Ysgol Bryn Teg. You can find a copy of our E-Safety Policy under the 'About us' tab then selecting the 'policies' tab. Your children will receive lessons throughout each academic year that help them understand how to use technologies and the internet safely and what to do if they are unsure about a situation they face online.
