Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) was established by an Act of the Spanish Parliament on 5 May 1989, within the framework of the University Reform Act of 1983. From the outset it was intended to be a relatively small, innovative, public university, providing teaching of the highest quality and focused primarily on research. Our first Chancellor was Professor Gregorio Peces-Barba.
The mission of Carlos III University of Madrid is to contribute to the improvement of society through teaching of the highest quality and cutting-edge research in line with stringent international guidelines. The University aspires to excellence in all its activities, with the aim of becoming one of the top universities in Europe.

Best Uni of Spain / Sencillamente la mejor Universidad de España y quizas en mi corazon la mejor del mundo. Un lugar enriquecedor, amplio y muy cerca de Madrid. Apenas 3 estaciones de Atocha Madrid estacion central via Renfe, tren de cercanias. Estacion margaritas. Lugar con multiples edificios, cada uno para las diferentes facultades que tiene la Universidad. Un lugar para aprender, conocer personas, tener gratos momentos y mas.

Un estupendo campus con buena comunicación. Es una joven universidad y cuenta con muy buenas instalaciones, donde destacan la biblioteca y el polideportivo. La biblioteca de caracol es impresionante, espaciosa con ordenadores que incluso puedes alquilar y pequeñas salas de trabajo. En todo el campus se respira un buen ambiente de cordialidad y ganas de aprender.

Worst Study Abroad Experience EVER, some Professors i took were extremely unfair when assigning final exams. Meritocracy does not exist for these professors, always going to class and active participation won't improve your grade. Extremely disappointing.
