Chinchilla Christian School

Founded in 1982, Chinchilla Christian College is a co-educational, independent school located on the Western Downs of Queensland. Offering quality, Christian education from Kindergarten to Year 12, we are a learning community where every student can shine - spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.

We are an independent, co-educational Christian school with a Playgroup, Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School on the one campus. We provide an affordable, Christian educational alternative for families on the Western Downs of Queensland. The College has a committed and caring staff as well as excellent facilities and resources.

At Chinchilla Christian College, we are passionate about being a learning community where every student can shine – spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially. We seek to educate the whole person. That is, we focus on the head, the hands and the heart. In this way, we encourage students to have strong minds, develop practical skills and cultivate wholesome, Christian values.

At Chinchilla Christian College, we believe God has a special plan and purpose for every child and that each one can achieve success. Offering Australian Curriculum taught from a Christian worldview, the College caters for a wide range of student learning needs. Our educational program is enriched with a wide range of co-curricular activities that facilitate the further development of individual student strengths and abilities. We are passionate about helping each student be all they can be.

Over time, the College has progressed to have a Playgroup, Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School on the one campus. To reflect this diversity, it was decided in 2014 to change our name from Chinchilla Christian School to Chinchilla Christian College (CCC). During 2015 the College came under the governance of Christian Community Ministries (CCM) and is now part of a network of CCM Colleges throughout Australia.

Chinchilla Christian College offers a Christian education to those families seeking it for their children. Our College is well resourced with qualified teaching staff, excellent facilities and appropriate information and communication technologies that support student learning. Our College is a vibrant learning community with families and the school working together to create a safe and happy environment.
