1. What is your vision for the university’s future, and how do you plan to achieve it in the next five years?

Our vision remains to be the region’s leading creative media education hub where innovation, industry relevance, and talent development intersect. We aim to remain the #1 choice for Creative Media Education in the region. In the next five years, we’ll expand industry partnerships, introduce new specialisations aligned with emerging trends, and enhance student experience through cutting-edge facilities and international collaborations.

2. How is the university adapting to the challenges of digital learning and integrating new technologies into education?

We’ve embraced hybrid learning models, our focus is on using technology not just for access, but to elevate learning outcomes and industry readiness.

3. What strategies are you implementing to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across campus?

We are building an inclusive community through scholarships, accessible pathways, faculty training, and student-led diversity initiatives. Our programs are focused on the non-traditional career paths and students who normally do not get much attention, we wish to ensure they are given the same opportunities to live their passion as any other group.

4. What role do you see the university playing in addressing global issues like climate change or public health?

Creative media has the power to influence. Through storytelling, design, and digital campaigns, our students engage with global challenges, raising awareness and driving behavioural change. Our curriculum encourages purpose-driven projects with real-world impact.

5. How are you fostering partnerships with industry to enhance job opportunities for students?

We co-create course content with industry, offer internships and live client briefs, and host regular networking events. Our advisory board includes top creatives who keep our programmes aligned with real-world demands. After 20 years of being the #1 destination for creative media students, we have built up the largest industry network in this industry in the region.

6. What steps is the university taking to support student mental health and well-being?

We provide counselling services, wellness workshops, and a student support team focused on the well-being of each student. Well-being is embedded in our campus culture, because creative success starts with personal balance.

7. How do you plan to attract and retain top faculty in a competitive academic environment?

We offer creative freedom, industry-aligned teaching environments, and strong professional development support. Our faculty are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and stay actively engaged in the creative industries.

8. How is the university leveraging alumni networks to support current students and recent graduates?
