Collegium Civitas is a modern non-state university located in the heart of Warsaw, the most dynamic capital city of Central and Eastern Europe. We have received accreditations from National Accreditation Commission and the University Accreditation Commission at the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities.We are an official member of many international associations and organizations, e.g. the International Sociological Association, the International Society of Political Psychology, the International Political Science Association.

In Collegium Civitas we encourage our students to benefit from educational and career opportunities available in United Europe and we do our best to provide them with a solid educational background to meet high demands of European job market.Our students were the only ones in Poland to benefit from the Joint European Degree in Human Rights and Genocide Studies MA Program that was offered by Collegium Civitas with a cooperation with Kingston University, London, University of Siena, Italy and Viadrina European University, Germany. Another unique offer was dual MA Degree Program in East Central European Studies, which was established together with West Virginia University, US and the University of Tartu, Estonia.
Hardly any university in Europe may boast the fact that as many as four its lecturers were Members of the EU Parliament, as it is the case in Collegium Civitas.Furthermore, the former President of Poland – Bronisław Komorowski – gives lectures in our University on topics related to key events in Poland, the region and the world from both a contemporary and historical perspective.Among our instructors there are also former Ambassadors and Charge d’affaires to such countries as the US, Russia, Japan, India, Pakistan, Canada, Egypt, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, Switzerland, Angola, Ireland, Moldova, Armenia, Belgium, and Israel, the President of the Polish National Television Council, Director of the national Academy of Public Administration, Director of the Nonmilitary Security Department of the National Security Bureau, and two members of the Council of the Institute of National Remembrance. Since the very beginning Collegium Civitas has been a bilingual University. Collegium Civitas is honoured to welcome students from over 50 countries. We have around 60 agreements within the Erasmus+ student exchange program, as well as many bilateral contracts with other Univeristies around the world, including the United States.
The intellectually rigorous nature of our study programs enables students to face the competitive job market with confidence. Our well-traveled and English-speaking graduates are an asset to any public or private sector employer. Also, the BA Programs at Collegium Civitas may be used as a springboard for further studies in the UK, the US, Canada or other English-speaking countries.
At Collegium Civitas Reading Hall and Library (the Palace of Culture and Science, XI floor) the students have access to course books and obligatory readings for classes, seminars and exams. The university is subscribed to daily press as well as to multiple magazines in the Polish and English languages.Since 2000 Collegium Civitas has invariably occupied the first or second place in the academic and university rankings of the leading Polish magazines, newspapers or educational institutions, like “Wprost”, “Polityka”, “Rzeczpospolita” or “Wiarygodna Szkola” and “Uczelnia Liderów”. In the fields of International Relations, Political Science and Sociology we are indisputably among the very best in the country.
We draw the majority of our faculty from the Polish Academy of Sciences, the most advanced and prestigious research institution in the country. We hold a Certificate of Quality in Education from the Conference of Polish University Presidents. Twice our professors have received the President of Warsaw Award for Best Academic Teacher.Collegium Civitas is proud of holding the Accreditation from the National Accreditation Commission and the Accreditation from the University Accreditation Commission at the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities.
Teaching excellence is not enough. Our faculty members are easily accessible and class sizes are small. No university can match our faculty to student ratio.Collegium Civitas is the least bureaucratized university at which you will ever study. Our progressive and helpful staff cares for the well-being of the university and its students.Collegium Civitas has introduced Online Student Services which allow students to register, check their grades, express their opinions, find out about courses and lecturers, etc. through the Internet. The system of the Online Student Services has been praised by both students and the faculty.
Empik School, Poland’s foremost language school, provides Collegium Civitas students with foreign language instruction. International students are also offered Polish as a foreign language.
A far higher than average proportion of our students take advantage of international student exchange programs.Collegium Civitas is part of the European Credit Transfer System which enhances student mobility throughout the European Union. Students also benefit from personal contacts with international students studying at the university.Representatives of 50 countries are enrolled on the university’s undergraduate and graduate programs.Collegium Civitas focuses on the European Union enlargement, the transition to a market economy and democracy, globalization, strategic analysis, political communication and political leadership. No future social scientist, business person, analyst or policy-maker is sufficiently equipped without an intimate knowledge of the logic and history of these processes and issues.
The Collegium Civitas Alumni Club was established in 2005. Its main mission is to integrate a community of graduates, lecturers, administration employees and others that cooperate with Collegium Civitas. The Club operates under the patronage of Professor Waldemar J. Dziak.Collegium Civitas is a scientific institution regulated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and receives a statutorily mandated subsidy from the ministerial budget. The Collegium Civitas Scientific Research Board distributes the funds to various projects carried out by research scientists.

Collegium Civitas stał dla mnie drugim domem. Wszyscy są zawsze otwarte i gotowi do pomocy. Wykładowcy zawsze mogą znaleźć czas dla studentów poza zajęciami. Działa Centrum Carrier, który wspiera studentów, pomaga zrealizować nowe pomysły, pomaga znaleźć praktyki i pracy. Każdy student ma możliwośc do rozwoju swoich umiejętności. Moim zdaniem jest to najlepsza uczelnia w świecie!

Collegium Civitas pomogło mi w spełnianiu celów i planów zawodowych. Skończyłam wcześniej dwa Uniwersytety i przyznam, że 2 lata studiów mgr na CC w trybie niestacjonarnym było bardzo użyteczne, inspirujące i rozwojowe. Kadra praktyków pomaga w rozwinięciu talentów! 5/5!

Robię tu licencjat. Na pewno pracują na tej uczelni ludzie z pasją, którzy wiedzą o czym mówią. Na sześć przedmiotów sześciu wykładowców ma niesamowitą wiedzę i potrafią ją przekazać. Profesor od historii tak wciąga w wykład, że nie chce się z niego wychodzić (przedtem w ogóle nie lubiłam historii). Pomimo dwuetapowych ciężkich zaliczeń warto wybrać ten przedmiot. Sama organizacja w uczelni raczej ok. No i to miejsce... Robi swoje. W porównaniu do wielkich szklanych molochów jak choćby SWPS, to tu jest przytulnie i kompaktowo.
