Students and staff who have travelled abroad will not be allowed to enter education facilities till it is ensured that they are free of coronavirus. The Ministry of Education tweeted on Saturday that the directive applies to students and staff of both public and private education institutions.
All schools and higher education institutions in the UAE will close for four weeks from tomorrow as the authorities stepped up its fight against Covid-19.

The ministry had previously tweeted: “In keeping with the recent instructions issued by the health authorities, all school staff and students returning from outside the UAE must complete the necessary medical examination and must be in home quarantine for 14 days to ensure that they are healthy.”
