Downe House Muscat Celebrates Academic Excellence Across A Levels, GCSE, and GED Omani Results for 2024/25
Downe House Muscat is proud to announce outstanding academic achievements across A Level, GCSE and GED Omani results for the 2024/2025 academic year, underscoring the school’s continued dedication to academic excellence and personal development.
Sixth Form students at Downe House Muscat achieved exceptional A Level results, with a 100% pass rate and 77% of entries achieving A*–C. These results reflect the commitment of both students and staff and mark a milestone in the school’s growing reputation for academic distinction.
In recognition of their hard work, this year’s cohort has received university offers from leading institutions around the globe, including King’s College London, Glasgow School of Art, and Edinburgh Napier University. Among the top achievers is Zoya Ali, who attained the grades to read Fine Art at New York University. Another notable student, Taif Al Amri has secured a place at Glasgow School of Art to study Architecture.

At the GCSE level, Downe House Muscat students also achieved excellent outcomes with an overall pass rate of 96%. The school recorded outstanding results across key subjects including English, Physics and Arabic. In English, students excelled, with English Language celebrating 100% 9–4 (A*–C), including an outstanding 93% at grade 5+ (A*–B). Students taking our supportive English as an Additional Language pathway achieved a remarkable 100% A*–A pass rate. These outcomes reflect the school’s commitment to rigorous academic standards and the personalised support provided to students throughout their secondary years.
In addition to these accomplishments, Downe House Muscat also recognises the success of its students following the Omani General Education Diploma (GED) programme, with 100% achieving a pass rate and several students surpassing expectations across key subjects.
