The Dubai Karate Centre was founded in 1985 with the aim of promoting Martial Arts in Dubai and the UAE. Certified by the UAE Judo, Karate Taekwondo Federation, the center upholds to the highest standards in martial arts and offers groups or individual lessons in the various discipline of Karate, Judo, Aikido, Muay Thai, Taekwondo. Our teachers are certified by the UAE JKT Federation and are renowned in their own disciplines by their associations in Japan and the United States. Aikido does not meet force with force and redirects an opponent's actions and attacks through a circular movement. Aikido also includes the use of the bhokan (sword) and jo (wooden stick) and was developed from several different martial arts in the 20th century, and founded by Morehei Ueshiba.
