Our largest campus, situated in the seaside town of Eastbourne, is home to several specialist buildings including the A Level Centre, Construction & Engineering workshops, Art & Photography studios, Motor Vehicle workshops and dedicated Catering & Hospitality and Hair, Beauty & Complementary Therapies centres.

The campus is a ten-minute walk from Hampden Park train station with connections to Eastbourne town, Lewes, Brighton and the surrounding areas.

Facilities on site include three coffee shops, a canteen, on-site gym, running track and playing fields, art shop and IT and learning centre.

Facilities include realistic industry standard vocational workshops, media suites, art and design studios, a custom-built sports hall, full use of a 400m athletics track and all weather sports pitches, well-equipped classrooms, a high spec laboratory with full disabled access and a Construction Centre. There is also an on-site restaurant and hair and beauty salons, all of which are open to the public and allow learners to gain first-hand experience with customers.

This centre provides a dedicated learning environment for A Level learners. It has been designed to provide easy access to independent learning space through our new, fully equipped Independent Learning Hub. Furthermore, a new Tutorial Centre provides all of the support learners could ask for and a new IT Centre means working at College is a breeze.

The A Level Centre at Eastbourne Campus is equipped with a gym which is available for use by all learners at East Sussex College. There are also a number of fitness classes available throughout term time.

If you love to play sports then we have a thriving sports academy in Eastbourne. You’ll be given plenty of time outside of you lessons to train and practise, then have Wednesday afternoons for competitive matches. We offer men’s and women’s football, rugby, and netball. So no matter what subjects you’re studying, you can join one of our academies. Popular extracurricular activities also include windsurfing, sea swimming, paddle boarding, hill walking and cycling, thanks to the seaside location and nearby South Downs.
