Eight scholarships are available to new undergraduate students with Home or International fee status studying within the Department of Electronic Engineering.

The scholarship is a £1,000 cash award, paid in the first year of study.

Application guidelines
You must provide a supporting statement of no longer than 400 words, which should include:

  • Why you are passionate about studying electronic engineering
  • How you wish to develop your ideas further at Royal Holloway
  • What your future aspirations are and how the scholarship will help you to achieve your future goals.
  • Your statement will be judged on how effectively and convincingly you respond to the above.

Terms and conditions
If you are awarded the scholarship, at the end of your first year of study, you must write a short quote (approximately 100 words) explaining how you have spent the award and how it has enhanced your degree.

Eligibility

  • You must be a new undergraduate applying for a BEng or MEng degree within the Department of Electronic Engineering.
  • You will need to hold a current conditional or unconditional offer to study at Royal Holloway before you can apply.
